In Temascaltepec is the church of the Lord of forgiveness and Our Lady of consolation, which is very beautiful and ancient.

Another attraction of temascaltepec is the traditional blackberry snow.

The biggest celebration that takes place in Temascaltepec is that of January 6, it is the party in honor of the Lord of forgiveness.

This celebration begins with the novena of all the communities that make up the municipal seat, then on January 3 there is a ride from San Andres de los Gama, to the municipal square.

That same day, there is also a race from Buenavista to the center of temascaltepec.

Finally, on January 6, the mañanitas are sung at 5:00 a.m., there is a mass, castle and firework bull, dance and fair.
